Session length
How this picks questions. Anything you got wrong comes back first, then whatever is overdue, then questions you have not seen. Getting one right pushes it further out, and further still when you answer under exam pace. Nothing you answered in the last few hours reappears.
On the passages. The prose stimuli and the survey data are written for this site. The verse is quoted from poets whose work is in the public domain, and the comparison sets pair poems the way a real paper does, so that the question is what they do differently rather than what each one says. Real Section I passages are drawn from published literary and journalistic sources, so treat these as practice for the moves rather than as an imitation of any particular paper.
